~ In every end there is a new beginning ~

Aarohan is proud to present Aamad (आमद), our 9th annual recital!
‘Aamad’, the graceful ornamentation of the entry to Sam (The first strike in a Taal) is symbolic of our students’ gradual melodious entry into the world of Indian classical music. Just as ‘Sam’ represents the beginning and end of every cycle, so does an Aarohan student’s journey from music education to the world of classical music. And so the cycle continues...

This year as part of our program, we are honored to host renowned classical vocalist Pritam Bhattacharjee (Foremost Disciple of Sangeet Martand Pt. Jasraj) accompanied on Tabla by Prithwiraj Bhattacharjee (disciple of legendary late Ustad Alla Rakha and Ustad Zakir Hussein).
